"Starting Over"
"Starting Over" completed only up to a third season. In my area Channel 10-Phila. (NBC) canceled the show. 
I've been a big fan of the show since it started, and was sorry to see it go. It was a quality show, and there is so few quality shows on TV anymore. I learned a lot from watching the show, and will miss it.
I don't understand why the show was canceled like it was - so abruptly. Very uncool.
I noticed that many of the women of 'Starting Over' are having their personal sites on My Space.com now. I'm not certain why.
Many of the web sites for 'Starting Over' are starting to fade on the net I'm sorry to say.
If it is thought that interest is waning I want to let everyone know that, and believe me, it isn't. (I get quite a bit of site traffic on this page.)
My vote on cancelling "Starting Over" -

I'm hoping that "Starting Over" will be released on DVD. It's an excellent show. I haven't heard anything about any DVD releases as of yet, but I'll keep my eyes open.

Note 1.7.09:
It's been awhile since the show has been off the air. 
I'm going to start to move things to my Amethyst...journal now, so at some point the content on this site page will be different. Most of the women that had web site pages are/or have moved to My Space.
There might be people now who don't know, or remember, the show at all - or what it was about - since it's been awhile.
I'll still post any S.O. updates on this page until completely moved then I'll update on my site journal.
I don't know why there haven't been any reruns, or any plans for any DVD releases or specials about the show.
Which is too bad.
'Starting Over' had some real success stories, and was an inspiration to some.
I suspect, and it's only a theory, that someone threatened to sue maybe. Which is why maybe it was pulled so fast, and didn't go into a fourth season - or maybe they are not able to gain all the necessary releases to produce a DVD series.
(The third season was the toughest by far with this show as far as challenging housemates.)
If you get a group of negatively oriented individuals in one place - especially in a growth environment such as this - there will be problems and arguments.
So there may not be any DVD releases in Starting Over's future.
I believe it was a groundbreaking show, and was indeed a motivation and inspiration to some.
